Inspiring the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs
Are you a young innovator eager to turn your ideas into reality? The Global Business Grand Prix is the perfect opportunity for university students—both Japanese and international—to explore entrepreneurship, develop their business concepts, and connect with like-minded individuals.
Event Highlights
🚀 Business Pitch Presentations
Finalists will have 8 minutes to present their innovative global business ideas to a panel of experienced judges. Each presenter will be evaluated and the top presentations will receive cash prizes.
🤝 Networking After Party
Following the competition, all participants, judges, and audience members can enjoy food and drinks while networking in a relaxed setting—an invaluable chance to exchange ideas and build connections.
How to Participate
To enter the competition, applicants must:
✅ Be a registered member of Global Village at the time of application.
✅ Submit an original business plan to Global Village by the designated deadline (23:59 on Friday, March 7 February 28).
✅ All business plans will be reviewed and as many as 8 finalists will be selected to present at the Grand Prix.

Prizes
Grand Champion: ¥100,000
2nd place: ¥50,000
3rd place: ¥30,000
All finalists will receive a Certificate of Participation for passing the initial screening.

Finalists: Maximum of 8 individuals or teams (teams can be up to 4 people, all of whom MUST be members of Global Village to apply)
Audience/Observers: Maximum of 20 (students, friends of finalists, university professors, etc.)

Contents: Hanami, or cherry-blossom viewing, is the classic spring activity in Japan! Join us in Yoyogi Park, one of the most famous spots for hanami in Tokyo, for a fun afternoon of food, tradition, and cultural exchange.
Location: Yoyogi Park (meet at the West exit of JR Harajuku station at 12:00)

In this workshop, former international student and HR consultant Elliot Conti will take you through his top hacks for decoding the Japanese job market, building an impressive skill set, and becoming an attractive candidate.
